This is a perfect first sonatina for early elementary students studying from any method series. Played in middle-C position, it includes a few sharps and flats. Hands work together to play the notes of the themes with hands-together playing at cadences. This 2-page solo also features a contrast of staccato and legato articulation. Ideal as a recital solo or for sonatina festivals.
